Novi Meksiko

New Mexico, nicknamed "The Land of Enchantment," is a state located in the southwest and western regions of the United States. Among U.S. states, New Mexico has the highest percentage of Hispanics, including descendants of Spanish colonists and recent immigrants from Latin America. The state ratified the United States Constitution on January 6, 1912 to become the 47th US State of the union. It shares borders with Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Mexico, and Arizona. Sante Fe is the state capital, but other major cities include Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, Roswell, Farmington, Alamogordo, Clovis, Hobbs, and Carlsbad.
